Secure Card Access

Lost or stolen cards can be easily removed from the system. No more changing locks, locksmiths or keycutting.

Once a card is identified as being lost or stolen it can be removed from the system immediately. Once removed, the card will not operate any locks.

If the card is found it can be re-initialised to operate locks again. SALTO cards cannot be easily copied, unlike less secure swipe cards.

Time Restricted Access

Access cards can be given a ‘valid time’. This allows you to program when, or for how long, a particular user or group of users can access parts of the building.

For example; You could give guests cards which are valid for the lenght of their stay which expire at the time they are due to check out

Or, You are having some maintenance work carried out. The contractors may only enter the rooms they are working on for the designated period of their project. After this their card becomes invalid and will not operate the handles.

Zonal Control

Each Salto card can be programmed to offer an individual level of access. The Salto system allows you to divide your premises into access zones, permission to access those zones can be easily programmed and can be totally individual to every user.

For example; The Duty Manager and Assistant manager may have access to every room in the hotel , cleaners may access only the rooms they are due to clean on that day and visitors may only enter common areas.

The details are totally flexible, and when combined with time restricted access, the access control possibilities are endless.

Lock Audit Trail

See, who’s been where, and when.

Each handle records the last 1000 actions it has processed.

For example; Items have gone missing from one of the rooms. By using the system auditor you will be able to view who were the last visitors to that room.

Automatic Locking / Unlocking

Salto handles can automatically lock or unlock doors at times programmed by you.

For example; main entrance doors could be set to open at 8.30 and relock at 5pm. In the case of an emergency doors can always be opened from the inside. Outside of thes

Contactless Access

The Salto access control system can operate automatic doors.

When used with proximity technology, doors can be opened without any contact, but remain secured at all other times.

Excellent for creating a wheelchair friendly building.

HAMS - Hotel Access Management System

SALTO has developed HAMS (Hotel Access Management Software) in order to provide an extremely useful tool for the control of hotel access and guest management.

HAMS is suitable for small projects controlling 10 rooms up to large resort based properties controlling thousands of rooms. Both guest rooms and back of house doors are managed in one system and HAMS can control both off line and on line units centrally. The software is network ready and can be installed on as many PC work stations as required.
