SALTO - Lock doors automatically
The SALTO system allows you to have doors lock or unlock at times programmed by you. This is especially useful for awkward doors, outbuildings, or in situations where a large number of doors require locking/ unlocking, at the same time.
SALTO - AUTOMATIC LOCKING
Salto electronic handles can automatically lock or unlock doors at times programmed by you. This is especially useful when there are numerous doors which need to be locked or unlocked at the same time, i.e. at the beginning / end of the school day. Automatic locking is also beneficial for doors on external buildings which are not easily reached.
The system allows 8 separate unlocked/locked periods for each handle.
For example, in a school, the sports hall could be unlocked to allow students access for PE lessons. The first lesson starts at 9am and finishes at 10.30.The handle is set to unlock at 9am to allow students in, the door relocks once the session is due to finish. This counts as one unlocked/locked period, this can be repeated up to 8 times per door unit.
At all other times a valid card is required to unlock the door.
Doors can always be opened from inside to allow exit in case of an emergency.
