Salto Security for Schools and Colleges
The Salto access control system from AC Leigh allows you to control who goes where and when, but wont break your budget. Allow authorised individuals to move freely around your establishment whilst simultaneously preventing unauthorised access from unwanted visitors.
The Salto system removes the need for expensive, time consuming and disruptive hard-wiring of your building. Salto operates a wire-free system which can be used with existing locks and doors. The wire-free virtual network allows the SALTO system to be installed virtually anywhere.

Secure Card Access
Lost or stolen cards can be easily removed from the system.
Once a card is identified as being lost or stolen it can be removed from the system immediately. Once removed, the card will not operate any locks.
If the card is found it can be re-initialised to operate locks again. SALTO cards cannot be easily copied, unlike less secure swipe cards.
Access cards can be given a ‘valid time’. This allows you to program when a particular user or group of users can access parts of the building.
For example; Members of an after school club require use of the sports hall every Tuesday from 6.30pm-8.30pm, their cards can be programmed to allow this access and not to operate the locks at any other time. Or, You are having some maintenance work carried out. The contractors may only enter the rooms they are working on for the designated period of their project. After this their card becomes invalid and will not operate the handles.
Each Salto card can be programmed to offer an individual level of access. The Salto system allows you to divide your premises into access zones, permission to access those zones can be easily programmed and can be totally individual to every user.
For example; The caretaker requires access throughout the building, his card is programmed to allow this. Cleaning staff can be restricted to enter only the rooms they are due to clean on that day. Members of the faculty are able to enter the classrooms in which they teach. Students may only have authority to access the main entrance
The details are totally flexible, and when combined with time restricted access, the access control possibilities are endless.

For example; You have left your laptop in a classroom, but on your return to the locked room, it‘s missing. Quickly and simply, the Salto software will show you who were the last people to enter the classroom, and therefore most likely to have taken the laptop.Salto Units are reliable and durable.
