Secure Card Access
Lost or stolen cards can be easily removed from the system.
Once a card is identified as being lost or stolen it can be removed from the system immediately. Once removed, the card will not operate any locks.
If the card is found it can be re-initialised to operate locks again. SALTO cards cannot be easily copied, unlike less secure swipe cards.
Access cards can be given a ‘valid time’. This allows you to program when a particular user or group of users can access parts of the building.
For example; You are having some maintenance work carried out. The contractors may only enter the rooms they are working on for the designated period of their project. After this their card becomes invalid and will not operate the handles.
Each Salto card can be programmed to offer an individual level of access. The Salto system allows you to divide your premises into access zones, permission to access those zones can be easily programmed and can be totally individual to every user.
For example; The Manager requires access throughout the building, his card is programmed to allow this. Cleaning staff can be restricted to enter only the rooms they are due to clean on that day. Members are able to enter the facilities they have paid for. Staff may have access to the staff areas and facilities.
The details are totally flexible, and when combined with time restricted access, the access control possibilities are endless.
Lock Audit Trail
See, who’s been where, and when.
Each handle records the last 1000 actions it has processed.
For example; A staff member has left a company laptop in a locked room. On their return, the laptop is missing. By downloading the lock audit trail you will be able to view which access card was used to enter the room, and therefore most likely has the laptop.

Automatic Locking / Unlocking
Salto handles can automatically lock or unlock doors at times programmed by you.
For example; main entrance doors could be set to open at 8.30 and relock at 5pm. In the case of an emergency doors can always be opened from the inside.
Durable Range of Access Fobs
SALTO has a large range of access keys. The technology can be housed in a card, watch, waterproof fob, or fob with wrist strap.
All of the SALTO access carriers are fully compatible with the system's features.
Integrated System
SALTO cards can operate a wide range of items.
Automatic doors, car park barriers, locker locks, lifts, energy saving electrical switches, cashless payment. SALTO cards support the main access control technologies such as MIfaire, DESfire, Legic, HID iclass, picopass.
